This Privacy Notice explains how JtoN (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with Noveling Tracks (“the Service”). JtoN is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
The Service is built on Lovable Cloud, which provides the backend infrastructure, authentication, database, and hosting platform. Lovable’s platform terms and privacy practices apply to the underlying infrastructure they provide. This notice covers what JtoN collects and why.
2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account information: email address, authentication provider details, and any profile information you choose to provide.
- Service content: project titles, author names, genres, phase codes, progress logs, notes, file locations, and any other content you enter into the Service.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and operational purposes.
- Support communications: messages, emails, or other correspondence you send to us.
We do not collect or store payment card details. All payment, billing, and tax information is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service: to create and maintain your account, store your projects, and enable the features you use (contract performance).
- Customer support: to respond to your questions and resolve issues (contract performance and legitimate interests).
- Security and fraud prevention: to protect your account and the Service from unauthorized access and abuse (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
- Product improvement: to understand how the Service is used and to fix bugs or improve functionality (legitimate interests).
- Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests (legal obligation).
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, though this will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
5. Who We Share Data With
We share personal data only with the categories of recipients necessary to operate the Service:
- Service providers: Lovable Cloud (hosting, backend, authentication, database), and any support or analytics tools we use to run the Service.
- Merchant of Record: Paddle, for sale of subscriptions, payment processing, billing, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting, or other advisers when necessary to protect our rights or comply with law.
- Authorities: law enforcement, regulators, or courts when required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Your personal data may be processed in the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. When data is transferred outside your home jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or other mechanisms permitted by applicable law.
